V-TIG 225 PULS + TIG set is a portable power source, made in MOSFET technology, designed for TIG welding and MMA welding with a direct current (DC) electrode. the device is perfect for workshop work
The device has two welding modes: TIG DC and MMA.
The TIG DC function is used for welding stainless steels, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper and titanium. Welding takes place in an inert gas shield.
In TIG welding: main current regulation, regulation of gas flow time after welding.
In the case of the TIG PULS method, additionally: regulation of the pulsation frequency
TIG DC PULS pulse welding allows to reduce the amount of heat supplied to the material and is used when welding thin materials.
Both with HF non-contact ignition and LIFT touch ignition, we have the option of selecting the button function in the TIG torch between 2-step or 4-step operation (button lock for long welds).
The digital display facilitates the exact adjustment of the welding machine.
The welder also has functions that facilitate the MMA welding process with a coated electrode:
ARC FORCE: short-circuit current regulation - facilitates the transfer of the molten electrode drop to the welded material, preventing the arc extinction when the electrode drop contacts the weld pool
HOT START: hot start regulation - it facilitates ignition of the electrode by providing a higher welding current with each arc ignition.
ANTI STICK: short-circuit protection - automatically switches off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the material being welded, which makes it easier to detach and prevents accidental formation of a welding arc
